One person arrested with forged documents under West Agartala PS

On 01-09-10 around 1710 hrs a patrolling party of BSF BOP Agartala check post led by HC Tulshiram detained one Nayeem Ahmed Mamoon(22) S/O Nissar Uddin Mamoon of Kotali Para, PS Kotali Para, Gopalganj, Bangladesh from general area near BP No-2023/4-S(about 3km West from PS) while he was crossing the border towards Bangladesh illegally from India. The BSF patrolling party recovered forged identity card, photograph, pass book, train ticket etc from his possession and handed over him along with recovered forged articles to OC West Agartala PS. Police arrested him and seized the articles. It revealed from the interrogation that he entered into India earlier back via Mursirdabad. He is suspected to have liaison with any banned orgn. He has been forwarded to the court and brought on 10 days Police remand for interrogation.

A mega health cum blood donation camp held
at West Tripura District Police lines.
Today on 02-09-10 a “Mega Health cum Blood donation Camp” was organized by West Tripura District Police with the co-operation of ATGDA at A.D Nagar Police line complex. It included an awareness programme on “Hepatitis-B” along with blood donation and free medical checkup. This mega health camp was inaugurated by Shri Pranay Sahay, IPS, Director General of Police. Other senior Police officers were also present in the programme.

A total of 103 Police personnel of different Police units donated blood in the camp. More than 100 people took benefit of health checkup with free medicine.

Road mishap under Kailashahar PS

On 31-08-10 around 1630 hrs one Maruti car bearing No-TR-01-E-0357 while proceeding towards Pancham Nagar from Singibill market side dashed one bi-cycle at Singibill on Singibill-Pancham Nagar road(about 15km South-West from PS) due to rash and negligent driving on the part of the driver of the vehicle. As a result bi-cycle rider Paplu Munda (22) S/O Chunilal Munda of Golakpur PS Kailashahar who was proceeding towards Singibill market by his bi-cycle from Pancham Nagar side received bleeding injury on his person and was shifted to Singibill Hospital from where he was referred to RGM Hospital, Kailashahar. On the same night around 2400 hrs he succumbed to his injuries at RGM Hospital. After the incident driver fled away with the vehicle. Efforts are on to seize the vehicle and arrest the driver.

Arrest of extremists under Damcherra PS.
On 31-08-10 14th BN Assam Rifles arrested one BRA extremist namely SS Private, Rajendra Reang S/O Gonchandra Reang and other 4 over ground workers namely (1) Barenjoy Reang S/O Barbajoy Reang (2) Pheisarai Reang S/O Pantho Raj Reang (3) Lalzawia Reang S/O Toporai Reang and (4) Tokhoram Reang S/O Hari Mohan Reang all of Damcherra, PS Damcherra from Kaiskopara PS Damcherra.

5 person kidnapped under Raishyabari PS

On 29-08-10 around 1700 hrs 7/8 unknown extremists suspected to be NLFT(BM) kidnapped 5 persons namely (1) Jaharam Tripura(26) S/O Sri Unajoy Tripura (2) Harendra Tripura(38) S/O Sri Krishnadhan Tripura (3) Laitha Tripura(37) S/O Sri Krishnadhan Tripura (4) Sarajoy Tripura(28) S/O Lt. Surendra Tripura and (5) Bipul Tripura(42) S/O Thaithamani Tripura all of Prasanna Roaja Para from a jhum land at Prasanna Roaja Para near Indo-Bangladesh border(about 18km North-East from PS) while they were working in the jhum land. Raishyabari PS staff visited the PO. BSF and TSR parties in the adjacent areas have been alerted.  

Recovery of motor bike under Bishalgarh PS

The motor bike bearing No-TR-01-E-6008(BAJAJ CALIBER) which was stolen from the house of one Ratan Rakshit of Resham Bagan, PS East Agartala on 31-08-10 night has been recovered today on 01-09-10 from Gakulnagar, PS Bishalgarh by Bishalgarh PS staff. After recovery the bike was identified by its owner.
